How do I connect a mouse to an MS906 with a failed touchscreen?

     The touchscreen has apparently failed on my MS906 and I cannot get past the unlock screen. Can I connect a mouse to unlock and use the MS906?

     I have tested a mini USB to USB type A adapter with different known working mice and none work or even turn on the LED on the bottom of the mouse. Also connected a powered USB hub then plugged a mouse into the hub with no joy. I know the USB port on the MS906 is alive because I can connect it to a PC and browse the folders on the MS906.

    Is it possible to use a USB mouse with an MS906?
